Bio|Contact

Liz Coicou  started LizTheBiz.com to help inspire the world with her eclectic style, creativity and positive outlook on life. While modeling she learned the ins and outs of the fashion industry, and decided she wanted to be recognized for her individuality. Not limiting herself to just being a mannequin.

"I don't want to be known as just a model or just another pretty face. I have so much more to offer. I'm interested in living my fullest potential and inspiring others to do the same." That might be said by almost every model out there but for Liz its a reality. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Liz Coicou was always encouraged by her family and friends to pursue a modeling career. At age 17 she signed to Wilhelmina Modeling Agency in Miami, where she immediately started developing her portfolio shooting catalogues, commercials, TV segments and was seeing much success as a commercial model. In addition to modeling Liz has also practiced various forms of martial arts through out her life and is currently practicing Kuntaw, An ancient Filipino style.

Liz describes her personal style as "Feminine masculinity" because  she loves mixing mens and women's wear. This combination lets her express her laid-back tomboy side while still being a girly girl. Her striking looks and dynamic personality is what sets her apart from the crowd. Hence, the reason publications such as NYmag.com, Vogue.com, Metro International, Stylelikeu.com, The Huffington Post and Essence.com (just to name a few) have featured her.

"Everyone has their own perspective and gifts to share with the world. My goal is to be a positive figure that people can turn to for inspiration, give as much as I can and love as much as I can while fulfilling my dreams."  -Liz The Biz
